Public Again

So I have decided to have my blog public again! Since I have been private, I have wondered several times why I even update and if anyone is reading. I keep a journal and scrapbooks at home with basically all the same stuff, so if this is just for record keeping, I'm being a little redundant and wasting my time doing a blog. So I figure, go public see if people are reading and if not I think I will just stop blogging. So here goes! :)

He's 3!

We had a lot of fun this year celebrating Kaleb's 3rd birthday! Being 3, he changed his mind every other day on what kind of party he wanted. We ended up with a Toy Story/ Tractor party. We started out at the movies to see Toy Story 3, then ended up at home for cake and ice cream. He loved that all the attention was on him, and that it was finally his day. It was really fun for me too, because he was so involved in it this year. Here are some fun things about Kaleb...
*Favorite color: Blue or red depending on the day
*Favorite food:hot dogs
*Favorite toy:A tie between his trucks and his "workerman stuff" (black & decker tool set)
*Loves his cousins
* best quote is "what'd you'd just said?"
*loves to dress up as a fireman, cowboy, workerman, or basketball player
*loves to help clean, in fact I'm in the process of creating a chore chart so he can earn rewards for all his hard work
*Knows his colors
*knows how to count to 10 (it still gets pretty jumbled after that)
*insists on standing up while going potty because he's 3 now
*loves to read books
*make believes with his toys
*wears his workerman safety goggles while playing with his toys (not just the worker man toys)
*thinks his daddy's friends are his friends (which they are!)
*Is the biggest sweetheart you will ever meet

I love you so much Kaleb! You have added so much joy to my life! I love watching you grow and discover things. You are so smart, and have the craziest memory ever. Everyone who meets you loves you, and for good reason too. I love that you've started to talk like what I think is your cool dude voice. I love your jokes that you make up. I love your snuggles. I love knowing that you are someone great, and I look forward to finding out and witnessing all that you accomplish in life. You are truly someone special, and I am so blessed and grateful to be your mother!
