Halloween 2010

This year for halloween we were a family of caveman! It was so fun to dress up together, we all had a blast! We got the idea because of Maylee, we kept saying with her little ponytail on top of her head that she would make a great pebbles, so we coordinated ourselves to match! Unfortunately she lost her little bone for her hair by the time we took the majority of our pictures, but I think there are a few in there where you can see the bone! We had a great halloween, it started off with our preschool party thrown at my friend Melissa's house a few days before, then the day of we went trick or treating at Blake's work, had dinner and a cute party for the kids at my sister katie's house, went to our church for trunk or treating, and then out to Blake's parent's house to finish our trick or treating and a movie. The day was pretty cold a rainy, luckily our kids are still little and happy with the indoor trick or treating we did, and were fine with the handful of houses we actually walked too! Halloween is right up there as a favorite holiday! We always have so much fun!
P.S. if you couldn't tell, I made the costumes :)

At blake's parent's house, with Wade, Jolene, and Tanner, the nerds, and of course the proud parents of the nerds and cavemen!

I think with a little editing, this could totally be a Jesus picture!

Kaleb Starts Preschool!

Kaleb started preschool this fall, and it has been a blast! I've been nervous to send him away from the home at his age, especially since he still has 2 years before being able to go to kindergarten, but have wanted him to experience more structured learning time. So I got to talking with some neighbors that feel the same way, and we started our own preschool! It started out as three of us, and has now grown to five with the new semester. We each teach for two weeks, and we meet twice a week. So in the fall I would have a four week break before I had to teach again, now I have an 8 week break! The best part about it is that he is going into homes with people I know and trust, with kids I know and trust, and he is thriving! I also have control over what he is learning. We both love it and it is so fun to get together for field trips and parties. Last semester we went to the Red Barn for a hay ride out to the pumpkin patch in Oct, had a halloween party, went to thanksgiving point's dinosaur museum and light exhibit, and had a Christmas party. Unfortunately, I just realized I am horrible at remembering to take pictures! I did however remember to take pumpkin patch pictures and Kaleb's first day of school! I am so proud of this little boy, and cannot believe how fast time goes, I remember looking at him as a new born wondering what he would be like as a toddler, sending him to school ect. And now these times have come and some have even past. It is kind of surreal to think about it! I feel so privileged to be a mother, and to have these wonderful personalities apart of my life forever!

Of course, Maylee had to be in the picture too :)

Fish Lake Sept. 2010

Sometime in September (I think) we went to Fish Lake with Blake's brother, Wade and his wife Jolene, and Blake's parents for a long weekend. Jolene's grandfather has a cabin out there, and they were both generous enough to offer it and let us use it. It was a blast! The trip was mostly a fishing trip for the boys! They woke up early and went fishing, came home for the afternoon while it was sunny, and went back out in the evenings. We had a lot of fun eating breakfast out on the deck, talking walks to visit the horses, going on a little boat ride, going to the ice cream shop, and just playing outside! I love moments like these, the whole weekend Jolene and I kept saying how we needed to keep trips like this up because they would be such great memories for the kids, playing with their cousins and having fun with the grandparents! My kids are blessed to have great family and relationships on both Blake and my sides! Here are a few pictures from the weekend
